Free Radio Pensacola and WPNX are honored to host the 2026 Grassroots Radio Conference, a national gathering focused on radio practice, infrastructure, and participation in community radio. It brings together station builders, engineers, programmers, organizers, artists and listeners to share practical knowledge about how community radio is built and sustained.

Over three days, we will explore topics including:

• Community radio and LPFM development

• Cultural preservation, transmission, and storytelling

• Disaster preparedness and resilient communications

• Station management and governance

• Production, syndication, and emerging technologies

• Radio and Transmission Arts
